Ghent is a small city just half an hour away from Brussels. It has a small medieval castle to visit and it is quite pleasant to walk by the canals. Visit the city museum and try some Belgian beer before coming home!

Amsterdam is all about canals and bikes. Walk around Dam square and through Jordan with the special and warm atmosphere. Visit a house boat or at least have a boat cruise around the city to see this different accommodation type.
